Hamilton Movers

This was my 2nd move in 2 years, and I have over 60m3 of stuff. The last time I moved I used one of the "top" movers, who charged accordingly. They broke my stuff, and charged me more than their original quote even though they had made a personal visit to come look. Hamilton movers were 1/3 the price I paid last time and was being quoted by the next "top" mover, broke wayyyy less (you can't expect perfect, but what's a cocktail glass in the scheme of things?), and got the job done in a day less than other companies quoted. Oh, and I had them do the full pack as well as the move. They were on time, quoted quick, followed up on their quote, and were available the days I wanted. Brilliant.

Everything went smoothly, truck arrived on time. Packing and Unpacking was seamless. Process was well handled. Happy with the service received. Would recommend this company

Great value for money. Got our things down to Christchurch from Auckland in 4 days. The only challenge was a truck break down, and our things got mixed in with another moves. We lost one box, but were able to locate it after. Overall really happy with cost and speed.

Terrible communication, the move was quick and relatively efficient, but they didn’t pack my furniture with blankets etc, so I had damage and breakages.

Prompt with good communication and care displayed for our possessions throughout the move. Would be happy to both recommend and use these guys again.

Everything flowed as they said. The men were amazing and packed the truck so well. There was no damage. I highly recommend this company

So much cheaper than the others and excellent

Started off with good communication. Then it went downhill, to make it short it was a very unprofessional business. Damage, safety issues, lack of care for our belongings, didn’t protect our belongings as they said, unsecured transport the list goes on !! Our friends had an even worse experience with them.

Was disappointed with the movers the truck was not loaded up..there was so much room left in it..we still had to lift heavy stuff..and still had alot to move..there were things turned upside down that shouldnt have been lucky nothing was broken ..would not recomend to anyone sorry

Not impressed when they turned up to load from our 20 cm storage unit in a 85 cm truck. Wouldn't matter where you were moving to you would never be able to get close to unload. Not a lot of respect for property.
