The move was for a 3 bedroom house over ~350m distance. It was scheduled for the afternoon. The team arrived around 2pm, and the move was completed by 4:30 pm. They offered us the use of an extra person to speed up the move, which helped a lot, but we had to pay extra for that person. Payment had to be completed while the team was on site. The team was friendly and worked fast.

Pleasant people to work with. Good comms before and during shift. My only recommendations to this company is that a two-person job - 1. they BOTH move furniture to the load off zone, then load onto the truck. One shifter was do all the moving up and down stairs, while the other waited on the truck. This move took x2 as long as previous move. 2. Also, both shifters stopped for 20-30min lunch and kept the clock going - not ok really - even tho they shared some of their pizza with me. Given they arrived late at midday [held up by spot check roadside weigh in] - they should have sorted their need to eat before they arrived. 3. At one point, they suggested moving large furniture a long and awkward way through the house rather than move the truck to a better location - which i requested and they did.

Hidden costs were not explained. They were probably the heavy items. Total cost finished up being over $400

I thought I had a complex move with items four stops to pick up and drop off but the team made it easy. I had a patch of overwhelm which they gave me space to process and no mention made of it - this mattered hugely as moving is inherently stressful even when wanted. I deeply appreciate the high quality, where excellence and flexibility came together for the required result. Care was taken with everything, not just the antiques which are irreplaceable. I very rarely leave bad reviews but the movers were not good, every item was bashed around as they carried it out doors, unprofessional. Used my dolly to move things rather than their own. Put items in storage shed without stacking it properly, which meant we had to re-stack it all to fit more stuff in. Both the men were weak, slow and spoke almost no english so it took up a lot of time trying to explain to them which items to grab. Price was OK but i wouldn’t use again.

Excellent communication, good crew. One glass item broken but the right precautions had been taken, so just a bit unlucky.

Communication was good, pricing was reasonable, Harvinder Singh was the main person who assisted with the actual move and he was absolutely fantastic. Worked super hard and was very good at loading, packing, and unloading. Highly recommend this guy. There was a bit of an issue at the other end, the staff member who was supposed to meet him in Nelson to help unload called in sick that day and so we ended up having to help Harvinder unload instead. It was an inconvenience to us but the company acknowledged this and issued a refund of $150 for the trouble. Overall I would recommend this company and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.
