“Very poor administration and communication”
Despite having a representative come around to see, they sent a truck that was too big for the driveway and had to use a van to load near the house, then drive to the truck and reload. This made the move nearly twice as long as they'd estimated and the cost skyrocketed, their mistake foisted on to me. So many things were broken, and about 1/3 of my belongings were stashed in the garage, without asking me. I arranged for them to pack up my kitchen, and they didn't send enough people to do the packing up and the move. The packing was roughshod and the packing materials I provided were wasted.
“Careful moving team”
The team work fast but carefully. No damage or incidents.
“Overall Helpful”
Moving day was good, a few items were damaged, including fridge freezer doors. Quick packing, however some miscommunication between staff and management did occur
“Hard workers but not enough assigned”
Movers worked hard but the assessor grossly underestimated how long and how many men were needed to move in and out in one day. It took a day and a half, and I also had to work with the men. They damaged to two pieces of furniture. The lady coordinating is lovely but overall this did not adequately meet our moving house needs.

“Big job”
The guys on the day were great, they had been told it was a small job and it really wasn't. Everything went smoothly and there was flexibility to change the day of the move due to weather

“Not so smooth on the moving day”
It didn’t go as planned and a bit frustrated at first on the actual moving day but we appreciated the hard work of 2 men.

Hi Yuko Thank you for your feedback. My apologies that the move didn’t go as planned but it was something beyond our control. Your booking was for 12-1pm start and truck arrived at 12:30pm but the driveway was very steep for the truck to make it to the house. To make it worse it was heavy rain on the day. We had to come up with another plan and send a smaller truck which eventually made it to the house and the move was completed. The driveway access needs to be mentioned when booking a large truck. We had to reschedule other clients job to accommodate your move. We at central movers believe that customers should be satisfied with the services we provide and therefore we apologise for any inconvenience caused on the day. Best wishes from us
