“Contracted out to a dodgy firm”
We asked MS trucking for a quote as a third party was paying for our move and they sent a representative out so they knew exactly what we needed. They quoted for three men, wrapping artwork and knew that we were up steps and needed a tail lift. The removers arrived an hour late two men, no tail lift, no knowledge of wrapping artwork. They were subcontracted by MS removers without consulting with us. After the move we discovered an expensive missing item and MS removers denied responsibility as they hadn't done the move. They didn't give us details of the subcontractors so that we could pursue it with them. I haven't moved house in 24 years but I don't feel that the service I received would be acceptable in any other industry.
